Lithium

"Leave me alone!!!!
Isn't ter anyone to understand me??"
A shrill voice shrieked thorugh the corridors......
Anyone who hears the voice would understand the pain deep inside.....
it was Mrs.Khanna who lost her daughter and her real self a month back......
she has been in the Ward since then......
Her life ruined by her daughter's demise......
She refused to take medication since her admission into the ward.....
A new psychiatrist has been called for to asses her condition.....
She was brought into the consultation room by two huge persons holding her......
"Take your seat Mrs.khanna",the psychiatrist,Dr.Ramesh told....
She took her seat slowly in a very depressed state.....
From her appearance the doc figured out that she ia havng bi-polar mood disorder.....

'Am here to hear your words mam....',said the doc...
'I've nothin to talk....Pls leave me alone',came a sober reply from Mrs.Khanna...
'Talk to me,,..... Open yourselver up.....'
'Just leave me alone',
'Ok mam relax..... Y have you been denying visits from your husband???'
'How dare you talk to me about that bastard???',Groaned Mrs.Khanna agitatedly....
'Ok mam.... I wont talk abt him...... be relaxed.....'
'hmmm',
'Atleast temme why are you not taking your medication',said the doc....
"I dont wanna forget what happened....
I dont wanna calm myself down by your stupid medication...
I wanna feel the pain inside me.....
I wanna stay in love with my sorrow,....
I wanna feel the seperation.....
I wanna develope the agitation in me.....
i wanna avenge my daughter's death.....
I wanna tear that bastard apart....
I dont want Lithium.....
I want a knife to kill him....." Said Mrs.Khanna getting up from the seat.....
Dr.Ramesh was speechless..... He saw the fire in her eyes,.....

Raavanan --->> Technical delight

The most awaited movie of the year, Manirathnam's magnum opus etc., etc.,
Lots of hype to the movie...... Manirathnam has given us a visual delight with his usual style..... I thought that there would be too much rush and booked tickets yestersday itself..... But when i reached the theatre was disapppointed with the crowd..... Very less the crowd was..... the detailed review as follows.......

Plot:
The plot is a very simple..... The usual Ramayanam story only.... Veera is a leader of a group denoted as a terrorist by SP Dev..... Dev attacks Veera on the day of his sister's marriage.... Spoils it.... the sister ends in police station nd gets molested by the police..... She commits suicide.... Veera seeks revenge by kidnapping the SP's wife.... But finally he falls in love with her..... Wat happens next is the rest of the story.....
My comment: The movie's plot is simple but the way the story is told is what makes the difference..... Its very clear tat Manirathnam is tellin us the life history of a maoist leader..... But the first half is bore nd has many unwanted scenes..... The second half is what matters.... The last 10 mins of the movie were awesome.....

Casting:
Vikram as Veera steals the show..... According to me Vikram has done his best in this movie..... His acting wins over the flaws of other's acting..... His charaterisation is also tooooo good.....
Aishwarya Rai bachan as Raagini, the SP's wife looka a bit aged..... Her acting was not that good..... But she has done some scenes good.....
Prithviraj as the SP didnt impress me tat much.... The usual role....

These r the main characters but vaiyapuri as the transsexual needs special mention.... Karthick too has done good acting....

Technical Comments:
Manirathnam has proved that he is still the best director in India.....
Cinematography by Santosh Sivan is brilliant and has rendered the perfect support for Mani..... His probing lens takes the audience through the thick jungles, the mighty waterfalls and the rough terrains of India. Music and art direction play equally momentous role in Raavanan as its lead actors..... If not for Rahman's songs and background score, Vikram's unrequited love wouldn't have been so painful for us.....
Suhasini's dialogues speak a lot for themselves.... Some of the dialogues make us feel the real emotions ion the movie..... But the dialogues at places was difficult to understand.....

Plus:
Vikram,Camera,Stunning visuals,The storytelling style..

Minus:
The main minus in the movie is that it lacks the feel of a tamil movie..... Also its difficult to understand the dialogues at places.... But the plus in the movie make us forget the minus....

Verdict:
I totally loved the movie.... Its not a movie for masala buffs....
It's a pure cinematic retreat spanning across dense jungles..... It's a treat to those who feel nd enjoy the movie with its technical aspects..... For those who seek only enjoyment the movie is nothing more than a mere mokkai..... The climas deserves special mention.... I'll give a 4/5........

To be loved is bliss

Returning to my blog after a period of exactly 5 months and 21 days....
Actually in fact forgot that i have a blog even.... Its so bad of me....
K anyway am back to blogging.....
This is my first post after a long period of hibernation.....

Beep...Beep...Beep...
My iPhone springs back to life....
It was a message....

"I searched through books and i leafed through cards,
for words that would convey,
What i had in my heart,
But when i sat down to write,
All i can write was,
I NEED YOU THROUGHOUT MY LIFE"....

My face becomes flush nd joy fills my heart like water filling an empty pot....
I wished to forward it again to 'HER'....
Touched edit nd then selected forward......
But whom to send???
My heart came to a pause....
Thnk... Think... Think...
In fact none to forward to....
Then only realised that i have none to forward the message too nd the messaeg was the work of my unused neurons....
So pity of me.... None to send me such a wish and also one to forward too....
All a piece of my imagination....

"Being loved is bliss",It was arun's tweet...
It made me think somethin.....
And suddenly I came to this thinking....
In fact its good to be loved and also to love....

Your smile makes magic

Yearning for a helping hand i was,
Obnoxious I was with the surroundings,
Upkeeping my spirits high,
Really your smile makes magic.

Sabotaging the sadness around you,
Minute smile of yours,
Instilled happiness in me,
Lilliputian may be to others,
Elegantly your smile makes magic.

Many a people i've met,
Astute I am with my words,
Kindling smile i've never seen,
Especially the big one,
Seriously your smile makes magic.

Mesmerizing many by ur speciality,
Although many dont feel ur beauty,
Gentle curving of ur lips,
Igniting the good feel in all,
Collectively your smile makes magic.....

The post dedicated to my special friend who always sends me a smilie nd has a very beautiful smile.......

The GUY who was???

I used to know a guy who used to live life on his own terms. He had his own strange principles.A guy with a clean conscience. He had his own morals and values in life instilled in him by his parents, teachers and some like-minded friends.

He believed in giving each relationship the required space, maintaining the dignity of everyone around him and never mixed relationships.
He had his own dreams, his own world of hopes and wishes which he did not share with anyone...

He was very friendly and frank with the people who were close to him but very reserved for strangers.

One of the most level-headed person I had ever come across.

He could do anything to help his friends.A patient listener,A brilliant conversationalist.

He could convince people pretty well and could make anyone around him feel comfortable.

He literally proved the quote true -
"I'm the kind of guy with no secrets, yet I'm trusted to keep everyone else's."

He truly was!!!!!!!!!

He knew many many many secrets about many people and he always kept them to himself.[He still does :) ]

There were those secret-sharers who had become strangers for him [Some had even become back-biters],but he never ever broke the trust they "HAD" put in him.

He never kept any personal grudges towards anyone.

He had his own rules for life which were quite contrary to the thinking of the friends in his circle; But that never changed him.

I silently used to observe him and I was quite happy that he never tried to change, thinking he was the "odd-one-out".

I always thought he'll never change.

This was true till he entered his college..................................................!!

A whole new world was around him.He was a very introvert guy but he somehow managed to join some of the people he already knew since his school days[Fortunately,he had some of his acquaintances around, with whom he "THOUGHT" he'll be very HAPPY...Obviously,he was proved wrong.]

He tried to gel with all of them.Inspite of being very uncomfortable he pretended to be comfortable....

This couldn't last long.

He was a very different kind of a person & no matter how much he tried he couldn't overcome her basic nature.

He HAD TO CHANGE,not because of them but because of his own good.Afterall,he had to be with those people for 5 nd a half years....

He had to pretend every moment at college. He was no longer "the most helpful person" I had ever come across. He bluntly refused for any help.

He had become rude towards everyone.

He had lost some of his best friends and this made him doubt everyone's friendship.

People who had promised to be with him forever were no longer with him & the worst part was he did not even know why had they become so apart.

There were some other people with whom he was forced to part ways.

He was no longer friends with the people to whom he used to talk for hours together, share the most stupid talks, have silly conversations and still wanting to talk more. His friends who taught him how to dream and how to be hopeful & optimistic, who made him adore music, who made him love life and the one who taught him how to love-All of them & many more had all left him to face the world alone.....
Some moments no one could ever bring back, some relationships he could not recreate.....There were friends whose absence mattered so much that the presence of the entire world hardly made any difference. He missed all those wonderful times when he was with the people he loved to be with.

He was not the most talkative guy any longer,'cause he had no one to listen to.

The people with whom he shared everything were not with him and he couldn't accept new people in his life.

He wanted to hold on to the memories; The new people he had come across could not make him feel even half the way his old friends did.

He couldn't get along well with them, even though he tried her best.

It was not that he did not like them or he hated them.

It was perhaps that the people did not like him,may be because he was an introvert or because he was DIFFERENT!

His so-called college friends used to enjoy partying, watching movies and had a great time whenever they were together.

However, his presence never mattered to them.
His opinions and his thoughts were never considered.

This had hurt him a lot and he was compelled to change.
People used to tell him to move on,but they had not been in his place; They hadn't perhaps gone through what he was going through.

He felt extremely low and side-tracked.

There were some others who used to leave no stones unturned to insult him.

Moreover,he's no longer friends with me also....

It's not that I left him or people left him;He himself let those people go.

And I'm quite sure,he's happier and her life must be much more peaceful now.I surely do miss him,but somewhere may be I had also taken him for granted and I could not stand by him and live upto his minor expectations....

I miss being myself.....

But am also happy with wat I am now....... With a few very good frnds.....

Still I wish I could get to be the real myself....

[Don't let your friends leave you.Hold onto them,'cause you might miss them once they are gone, like I do...!!!!]

My heartfelt thanx to my dear frnd Disha who made me write this.....
